I was going through a very hard time. My work as a teacher was bringing up many of my childhood traumas to the surface, and the pandemic didn’t help. I felt very overwhelmed with my own stories and emotions, lonely, depressed, and very desperate for help. I suffered from anxiety, depression, rage, and low self-esteem.

I started bespoken therapy, and suddenly I saw Lorena’s Studio flyers on a coffee shop with a sentence saying “Heal & Satisfy your Soul.” There was something on that phrase that really pulled me towards contacting Lorena and joining one of her Yoga classes. 

Since the first time I saw her, I felt very welcomed, loved, accepted and held by her. My first yoga class with her was wonderful, relaxing, calming, just what I needed but somehow yoga felt it wasn’t for me. On her yoga classes, she also gives Reiki when we lay on Savasana. I got curious about it and wanted to experience more, so I booked a 1:1 Reiki session with her. It felt good and left me feeling very relaxed, but still felt it wasn’t 100% what my soul was looking for. I knew about her Breathwork & Meditation classes so I decided to join one. “That’s it!” -I said to myself. That was exactly what my soul was looking for: PEACE & JOY within myself. 

I tried everything, and it turned out that Lorena's Breathwork classes have had the most impact on my life.

Bespoken therapy is helping me heal from my childhood wounds, and Lorena’s breathwork helped me to live more mindfully and more in peace, to love myself more, and to regulate my anger and anxiety. I’ve changed for good, but not only that, its benefits had also had a ripple effect in the school where I work, and within my family.

“I was able to breathe freely and smoothly again”

Initially, I was interested in attending a breathwork workshop because of ongoing Covid symptoms that were impacting my lungs. During the time of knowing Lorena however I became pregnant and we had 1:1 sessions to help strengthen and prepare me for this with a combination of breathwork, yoga, and reiki. I have felt huge improvements in my breathing through my work with Lorena, and other benefits too in terms of relaxation, stress management, and body strengthening.

The breathwork was fantastic to improve my breathing post-Covid and with limited lung capacity as part of pregnancy. When I started, I felt like my breathing was inconsistent and shallow, and no longer felt natural! But through our sessions I found I was able to breathe freely and smoothly again, I expect this will be invaluable during the upcoming birth of my baby.
In addition, the combination of yoga, reiki and breathing, were excellent tools to feel very relaxed and getting good quality sleep.

Lorena is incredibly warm and caring, while being a thoroughly diligent professional too. She went out of her way to tailor each session to what my evolving pregnant state needed at that time. She actively worked to increase her already extensive knowledge to understand the effects of pregnancy on one's body so that she could offer the best possible experience for me. Her classes were a very safe space to share and relax, I left each session feeling great physically and wonderfully calm.

“I don't feel the constant pressure I felt around my chest anymore.”

I've had anxiety and depression issues, that got stronger since the pandemic and constant home office work and very few socializing options with friends and family. Also, my stress management is really not great and I get very hectic and stressed quickly from simple situations. I received a breathwork session from my brother as a Christmas Gift and after I had my first session with Lorena it made already such a positive impact on me that I wanted to continue learning from her and working on myself with her help.

Usually, we had our breathwork sessions directly after I finished working, where I was still in a stressed and hectic mindset. During the sessions, I managed to calm my head and concentrate on how my body feels. I felt calm, safe and we always started each session by first talking about how I am, how my week was, how I was feeling. It felt good to get attention from her and to be heard. I managed to calm down within minutes of the session, it helped me transition from work time to free time and switch off my head a bit with constant fast thoughts.

I don't feel the constant pressure I felt around my chest anymore and I didn't have any panic attacks in 3 weeks, which is a real success. I feel more energized, I can look again in the mirror and at myself without disgust or bad thoughts. I’m smiling more and I'm calmer. My blood results are better, my high blood pressure decreased (with medicine I still had 120/90 mmHg, and after I do a breathing exercise goes down now around 75-80). My appetite improved, I'm again able to pay more attention to healthy eating because my head is calmer after I breathe and practice awareness how Lorena showed me.

I started suffering from anxiety and stress due to work circumstances and I went to the doctor and she recommended me to do breathing techniques, body scan and meditation. So I knew you could help me with all of this.

I learned things I did not know and during the session, I felt I could say anything without being judged, just felt in a very comfortable and calm and peaceful environment where I was heard and I could relax, and during the breathing exercises, I was able to relax and feel great physically and mentally. The techniques were helpful and easy to put into practice in my daily life, and even shared them with my family. It is still a work in progress, but the knowledge that I have now will help me for sure keep working on me so that I can be better for myself and everyone around me.

I needed professional help and Lorena was the perfect fit for me. We are friends, even though we haven´t been in touch daily for a very long time, I knew she was the right person to help me with my problem. I reached to her and explain my situation with my anxiety and stress due to work circumstances and she provided me with knowledge and guidance and offered me a program to help with all of this. It has really helped a lot during the session, but also after I finished the Coaching Package as I could apply those techniques at any time. It really has helped me. It is amazing how something so simple as breathing can make such a difference in someone´s life. I think everyone should learn this technique even if they don’t have the same issues, as I think this is beneficial to everyone’s happiness and wellness.

“Breathwork is a process and you'll grow from the first day on”

I wanted to manage my feelings in stressful situations so I could show up as a better person and mum.
Before the program I was looking to find the right techniques and came to the conclusion, that I needed individual support to meet my needs.

I felt strong and proud that I was working on me.
It was 1hr of peace and serenity. I felt safe because she wasn't judging. I always went out of the room with more confidence, energy, and with simple tools and techniques to practice at home right away, even with my 3-years-old son.

I’ve practiced yoga and meditation before but I’ve never found a tool so effective that I can use everywhere and it has such a quick impact on my stress level. “Breathwork helped me a lot to sail through these stormy waters of my life.”

Last year was for me as for 1000 others a challenging one. A lot of things buried in me popped up suddenly, till the moment where I couldn't bear them anymore. There was a lot of anxiety, stress, self-doubt I have also questioned my whole life ... as I couldn't really deal with all these things I experienced a loss of hear and was just exhausted. I knew that I wanted to use this experience and transform it and also wanted to change something in my life to be able to deal with it.

I just loved our sessions. You showed so much patience, curiosity and understanding for all my issues. I felt also safe, so I could really get loose in the transformation process we triggered together. Thank you again so much for it. Already our first session I got some practical tools on how to immediately react when stress or anxiety arises. In the end, the biggest transformation happened along the consistency of our sessions. It really helped me that we agreed upon a regular periodicity. It wasn't always easy to show up to the sessions, but every one of them counted. Through your truthful, understanding, loving art I felt just safe to be myself and was able to create some healthy habits in my life.

Covid times were hard for me as for a lot of other people. I am grateful that I listened to my intuition and could experience breathwork with you. Your kind, understanding, curious, competent way, which created a safe place even though we could just do our session online, helped me a lot to overcome the current challenges in my life. The breathwork helped me a lot to sail through these stormy waters of my life. I can just say to everybody to take the chance to experience the power of breathwork with Lorena.
